What do you have to do with the name of the Japanese diet? Maybe you like fresh rolls or seaweed salads coated with aromatic additives? In fact, in the Japanese diet you will not find traditional Japanese dishes, but there are healthy and delicious foods, the right combination of which will help you gain 5-8 pounds of weight in just 2 weeks.
The basic principle of the Japanese diet is the restriction of carbohydrates and fats, as well as the promotion of willpower and patience.
Detailed menu of Japanese diet for 14 days
For two weeks of diet we need:
- good coffee (we will drink it a lot and often, so it is better to be just very good, high quality coffee beans);
- beef;
- chicken eggs;
- tomato juice or some fresh tomatoes;
- Cabbage;
- vegetable oil (better if you use olive oil or linseed oil);
- any fruit (favorite);
- sea fish (trout, narrow salmon, red halibut, koho salmon);
- carrots;
- crackers, bread (rye);
- kefir (it is better not to choose low-fat kefir).
Day number 1
- In the morning we drink fresh coffee (without cakes). Before coffee, drink a glass of warm water to prepare the stomach for breakfast.
- For lunch we prepare a light salad with cabbage with butter. Such a salad will help cleanse the body (pure fiber), and olive oil will allow the skin to remain young and beautiful (this is especially important during a diet). At lunch we drink a glass of tomato juice or eat a tomato.
- Dinner will be modest but satisfying. Take any fish, boil it or bake it in the oven without salt.
Day number 2
- For breakfast we drink coffee without milk again and allow ourselves to eat it with a slice of bread (rye). Also, do not forget about a glass of warm water before breakfast.
- At lunch time, we repeat our yesterday's dinner menu - grilled or boiled fish without salt.
- In the evening we cook beef. It is advisable to cook the meat or cook it without salt. We wash the dinner with kefir.
Day number 3
- A traditional breakfast is accompanied by sugar-free coffee with a biscuit or croutons. Remember that croutons and biscuits are exactly one piece, not a whole kilo!
- At lunch time, we cook ourselves a delicious and extremely healthy zucchini. It can be fried (sliced or cut in half) in a little oil or baked on paper.
- Today we are expecting a truly royal dinner! Hard-boiled eggs (2 pieces). We also cook beef and eat it all with cabbage salad.
Day number 4
- After yesterday's feast, in the morning we get only strong coffee. No biscuits and ruks.
- Lunch also looks a bit sparse - a hard boiled egg, 3 carrots with butter. The only joy of lunch is the cheese! But only 200 grams.
- But for dinner true happiness awaits us - fruit! True, your table on this day can be decorated with only 200 grams of apples, oranges or pears.
Day number 5
- If you are insanely bored with breakfast coffee, today is your day! We eat breakfast with raw grated carrots, seasoned with lemon juice (you can squeeze the juice of half a lemon).
- For lunch we already have the usual boiled or roasted sea fish (about 400 grams) and a glass of tomato juice, which can also be replaced with fresh tomatoes.
- If you have any fruit left over from yesterday, that's fine! Today again we meet dinner with different fruits.
Day number 6
- We greet the morning with fresh coffee. And we start dreaming about dinner.
- At lunch we will have chicken (we cook about 400 grams) and cabbage salad.
- We pay for a rich daily diet with a fairly poor dinner with two eggs and a carrot salad.
Day number 7
- We drink green tea for breakfast.
- In the afternoon we enjoy an interesting combination of fruit and boiled beef.
- And we compose dinner on the seventh day of our diet - from every evening option of the previous six days (except the most plentiful dinner of the third day)
Day number 8
- This day's diet completely coincides with the seventh day of our diet - green tea, beef with fruit and any dinner you want, except for the third day dinner.
Day number 9
- In the morning, after a glass of warm water, we drink hot coffee.
- At lunch time, we allow ourselves to eat chicken (half a small lifeless body). We eat it with a salad of cabbage or carrots (of your choice).
- In the evening we cook two eggs for ourselves and rub the raw carrots (we need about 200 grams, which is roughly a glass).
Day number 10

How easy is it to transfer the Japanese diet?
- It is important to fit in psychologically correctly. Try to reach an agreement with yourself - before starting a diet, do not suggest to yourself that you will now have to live in a regime of severe restrictions.
